What is Great about Living in Florida

Tampa, St. Pete and Clearwater Florida are #23 on the Forbes list of America’s Fastest Growing Cities 2018. This list is based on growth of population, employment, wages and economic output. 

Please look up this list for yourselves and see that we are growing! What is great about living and/or moving to Florida? Let’s take a look at some of the advantages of living in Florida:

Home prices are still more affordable than other major cities in the US. Although we are growing, the traffic is far less than other big cities. 

Things are closer to get to – especially if you are from a big city. 

It’s warm and sunny most of the year.

Beautiful white, clean, sandy beaches. Florida takes care to ensure the beaches stay clean and beautiful. 

Many golf courses. 

Gorgeous sunsets. 

The weather during the late fall and winter is great with low humidity and warm (not hot) days and cooler nights. 

I think the best advantage is no state income tax. States like New Jersey have raised taxes again and many of our friends from that state and others are coming to Florida. 

Outdoor living. 

Many of these reasons were enough to get us to uproot and move to Florida. I never thought I would enjoy it as much as I do, but I have to say that I really love it here, with the fresh, clean air, clean beaches, boating and all the great new restaurants popping up.
